Band Biography :
armedforwar was formed in November 2002. The style was harsh and noisey with
tons of samples, ambient keys, a bit of crunchy grinding guitars and a dash of
distorted vocals. The Original lineup consisted of Ian on Guitars, Backing Vox
and Programming, Jamye Backing Vocals. I Myself Richard on Vocals, Programming
and the Production. We released 100 copies of a Limited Edition Hand Numbered
demo entitled Beat the Machine. In 2002 some of our unreleased material was
featured in an indy film Gallows Hollow from Spruce Films. In 2004 the song
Misanthropic from the Beat the Machine Demo was also featured in another Spruce
Films release Suddenly Shay. Unfortunately armedforwar never saw the stage. Ian
and I split and he moved to Pittsburgh summer of 03. I continued my writing and
the neverending quest for collaborators. Over the next 15 months I did a total
studio overhaul complete with new PC, mixer, software upgrades and new monitors.
In November 2004 I met Nate. With us having the same goals and tastes in music
we clicked instantly. We recently got some new equipment and upgraded some of
the old. In October 2005 Nate and I met Corey and Dave from the band Black
September. Currently we are working on new material with these guys hoping to
drop an album in Summer 2006 much musical mayhem shall be the product!! Check
