Band Biography :
A new band out of Uniontown, PA comes AWESTRUCK! Four musicians who have
traveled many roads have come together for a once and for all attitude! Inspired
by Mike El-Ayazra(drummer) and Tommy Bozek (guitars) both from Uniontown to form
a nucleus to make rock music. In and out of other projects, such as One Eyed
Jack and most recently Krave. They decided to take it in there own hands. With
no name but one desire they layed the plan and groundwork for what is soon to
become rock with purpose and reason. Looking for that signature sound started
with finding a frontman. Through research, and faith the lines of Mike and
Charles HoneyCutt (vocals) crossed! Charles who is from North Carolina, living
in Pittsburgh auditioned knowing deep down this was a chance of a lifetime!
Growing up singing in church and vocals for a couple of dwindled projects, as
soon as the guys met there was an instant chemistry of music and friendship.
Before Charles could get home from auditioning he was called, asked if he was
interested in joining. With the original bassist leaving though the search was
again on to complete the nucleus. Through drive and MANY bass auditions came
Brandon Jennings (bass)!! From Morgantown West Virginia, Brandon came to
AWESTRUCK just in time! His attitude, low end, and passion to make music proved
to clinch the groups awareness! It came down to him being able to “flat out
play”! We are rock plain and simple. We have several influences, but one
mission. We want to make your ears ring and your soul find its depth. We want
our lyrics to hit home and relate. After you experience us we want to have made
a difference in what makes you matter! We have all the equipment, our own
soundman, and most importantly passion and patience. The many paths have now
become one long road. To get to where we are going we know will take some time.
However, its the journey thats half the excitement…..We welcome anyone that
wants to be fed rock, with drive, depth, heart, in your face, stomp the surface
