Band Biography :
Blunt Object are a four piece band from Queensland’s Sunshine coast. Their music
is a mixture of crushingly heavy grooves, melodic chunks and a tasteful
combination of each members personal touch. Blunt Object have released three
cd’s in their 5 year career. Debut ep 2000(independent) ‘The object of our
agression’ Ep 2001(independent) ‘your weapon of choice’ Debut lp
2002(ward69records/mgm) ‘Edgeless’ ‘Edgeless’ has been receiving air play on
triple j’s full metal racket, 4ZZZ fm and many others throughout Australia.
Edgeless is now onto its second pressing due to excellent sales throughout
Australia. Blunt Object have played support shows with the following acts – sunk
loto, testeagles, frankenbok, bodyjar, japunga, segression, brown hornet,
damaged, devolved and hollow but to name a few.Blunt object have played
festivals such as – overcranked 1 & 2, blast off 1, 2 & 3, Aussie fest 1
