Band Biography :
Calculated Risk was born on 3/19/2004 by founder Bill Meyer and Drummer Jim
Polizzi. A few months passed and their search for a bass player ended with the
addition of Scott Schaefer. Operating as a 3 piece band for roughly a year and a
half they forged a sound reminisent of bands such as ELP, Renaissance, Pink
Floyd and Dream Theater but something was missing. Finally in March of 2006 the
missing piece of the puzzle was found in the form of guitarist Marco Piazza who
fit the bill to a T! Calculated Risk is now in the process of recording their
debut CD. More to come later…..
