Band Biography :
In the summer of 2000, PABLO O’BRIEN met OSKAR. After playing for two years in a
band called Roswell, trying to achieve something in the Spanish Indie Industry,
they just didn’t get what they were looking for in a recording deal so they
didn’t sign and nothing changed….But, this didn’t stop the music flowing
through their rotten minds. They had new songs around and performed some live
acoustic sets in southern Spain known as ACOUSTIC CRUSH with a new
hippy-stylish-weird man called SERGE who said that Led Zeppelin were his best
friends after he helped them to write “Stairway to Heaven” (Nobody believes him
yet). ACOUSTIC CRUSH was a bluegrass project to earn some money to feed their
pets and change their strings…more often than ever!! It was worth it….they got
the experience they needed and plans changed… Now they were three. In early
2004, Pablo and Oskar moved to Brighton (South England) to change their
lifestyle and to learn more about everything. With loads of songs in their heads
and only a few euros to change into pounds they started to build up DECODER. So,
I hear you ask, ‘What the hell can these Spanish freaks offer to the UK
showbiz?!?’ I’ll tell you… THE MOST POWERFUL GUITAR RIFFS ROLLING THROUGH THE
DEEPEST MELODIES ON THE VOCALS AND PSYCHODELIC SYNTHS FROM THEIR OWN HELL TAKING
YOUR MIND OUT OF ITSELF… The latest member is a poetical musician nicknamed
Pete “Quick-sticks”. He’s a seventies rock lover and a very cool drummer.
