Band Biography :
Sound: Deep Fry could be best described as funk metal. We have a fairly heavy
sound with an eclectic mix of funk, jazz, hip hop, and reggae thrown in for good
measure (sometimes all in the duration of one song). Our main Influences are Mr
Bungle, Faith No More, Primus, Jamiroquai, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Pantera.
Brief History: 2002 saw Deep Fry make a live debut, playing a few clubs and
small festivals around Brisbane and Northern NSW. In December our original
drummer decided to leave the band. 2003 has seen Deep Fry go through a few more
line up changes resulting in a new rhythm section. While the new recruits learn
our songs and add their touch to our music, we look optimistically into 2004.
