Band Biography :
DOOKIE is an ALL-GIRL pop-punk band based in SPALDING,Lincs (U.K). Our main
musical influence as a band is GREEN DAY, but we all like different styles of
music and we each bring our own unique style into the band. The band was started
two years a go by Lisa Lee (Bass) and Sam Percy (guitar). Back then, we were
called ‘Misled Youth’, but we had no drummer or singer. Then, Allie Coombs
(vocals) joined the band as a guitarist. She then gave up the guitar and bacame
the singer when Drummer Emily ‘Animal’ Gammons joined the band. Just before ur
first gig, we decided to change the name. Emily suggested the name ‘DOOKIE’ and
we agreed and kept the name ever since. For a while, we just did cover songs but
we have recently started to write our own material to hopefully put onto an E.P
in the near future.
