Band Biography :
Empty A. D. is a hard core five piece metal band hailing from Central Florida.
This energetic outfit is comprised of front man Thom Doxsey, guitarists Nick
Millard, and Brandon Davis, drummer Rob Venable, and bassist Kevin Polk.
Although influenced by the likes of Life Of Agony, Slipknot, and everything in
between, Empty A. D. boasts a sound that is all their own. The band is open and
diverse in its musical approach and a range open to anything that is heavy.
Doxsey’s dark and powerful vocals quickly set the mood backed by the thick
chaotic riffs of Millard and Davis. Venable’s signature percussion and Polk’s
infectious bass groove nicely round out this solid formation. Currently, Empty
A. D. is working with death/thrash metal guitar legend James Murphy of Death,
Testament, and Disincarnate, as he is mixing and mastering their first full
length album: Graphic Nature, and will be engineering and producing their next
project as well. Empty A. D., a long time musical staple in their hometown of
Lakeland, Florida have always remained true to their scene and their following.
After several changes, and a few speed bumps along the way, a firm line up has
been forged and Empty A. D. is poised to take it to the next level, regardless
of the circumstance. With their gut wrenching rhythm, sick vibe, and unique
style, the sound purely is Empty A. D….and they have arrived!
