Band Biography :
Enemy3 started in 2002 and have played thier own brand of punk rock for 3 years
now and moving on to thier 4th year.They formed when two
friends,Rowan(Guitarist) and Warren( Ex-Bass Guitarist) started writing punk
songs together and a year later Roy joined the band and Enemy3 was formed.The
band come from Springs, a small town in Gauteng South Africa ,and started
playing gigs at the end of 2003.They played a style that was influenced strongly
by Rancid and Anti-Flag,but this all changed in 2004 when they started
introducing new influences from metalcore to Emo.At the end of 2004 Warren left
the band and Gareth joined bringing with him roots in metalcore,screamo and
emo,this was welcomed with open arms as Roy and Rowan whose original tastes in
Rock and Roll,Punk and Melodic punk had now joined with metalcore,emo and
screamo,and so a new and original sound emerged.The band remained dormant until
they had perfected thier style but made thier mark of being something new and
unheard of from the first gig they played with Gareth.Enemy3 plans on conquering
2006 and the years to follow,look out for the Enemy.
