WE ARE BURNING BRAINS THE BAND from Belém , Brazil · We’ve developed a following of loyal fans in our country and we are anxious to share our music with the world. The original band formed in 2005 and like most new bands, we’ve had different talented musicians that represented our band as it evolved. Burning Brains has always strived to blend classic rock and roll music with heavy metal and occasionally romantic ballads. Our main influences are bands such as Dokken, Keel, Wasp, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne and Judas Priest. We’ve had the honor of being selected as the opening act for concerts in Brazil with headline acts like Angra and Dr. Sin. We were featured on Cultura TV, Cultura Radio, the Heavy Weight Radio Program. We headlined shows at Ná Figueredo Cultural Space and the Acorde Festival. There were always favorable reviews in the various newspapers following our energetic live performances and our fan base continuously expanded. As things increasingly became more demanding and of a serious nature, original founding members and songwriters Antonio Augusto Cesar Junior (lead vocalist Jr. Thunder) and guitarist / producer Nelson Torres parted with the former band members to rewrite and re-record all of the Burning Brains songs. Alcyete Caracciolo (Antonio’s wife) lends her talents as lyricist and co-writer to the project. The new material and rewritten earlier work is currently being recorded, engineered and produced in Nelson’s studio. There will, undoubtedly be new musicians that form the live performance Burning Brains line-up but for now, the concentratio?n is on getting enough material prepared to launch our first CD, something we’ve worked toward for years. So stay tuned and experience the ongoing evolution of our band and our music.
We hired Ken and Geri Long at Longshot Productions in Canada to create a series of unique and sometimes shocking conceptual videos to help promote our new recordings; with great success. Formed early this year the Band Last Page mangaed to survived till date in aplace where survival of a band is something that is unnatural. The band is founded by richard Khuptong ( guitarist ). After playing with John Guite (guitar) for more than a year the two finally came to the conclusion to formed a band. With Sianlal (Bass) and Muanlal (Vocals) in the line up the quartet record a single with every penny that they worked out. But then the band is still incomplete Mamung(drums) then a friend of Sianlal was just the right person the band had been loking for. We were formed in January 1980 in the basement of the drummer's house in DeKalb County, Georgia. We debuted on December 6, 1980 at the Christmas dance at Shamrock High School. In the summer of 1981, we recorded two songs (In the Name of Rock and Roll and Queen for a Day) at Monarch Studios in Alpharetta, Georgia and submitted them for consideration by a local radio station (96rock) for inclusion in its Home Cookin' II LP. Out of over 1100 submissions, In the Name of Rock and Roll was one of the 12 songs selected for the album (released in the summer of 1982). In fall 1982, we recorded another eight songs at Monarch for inclusion on a demo. We disbanded the following year, but the 10 recordings were kept by our producer, Steve Starnes, and Monarch's engineer, Larry Turner. Steve and Larry were able to successfully digitally transfer the surviving copies of these songs to CD (Unfinished Business) in 2007, and after obtaining the necessary U.S. copyrights, we were able (finally) to distribute them under the Catapult Distribution label on June 1, 2009 to worldwide digital download sites, including iTunes, Rhapsody, Verizon, Napster (US), Napster (Japan), HMV (UK), emusic, Zune, Amazon (US), Amazon (France), Pasito (Central/South America), and TescoDigital (UK), where they are currently available for sale to the public.
