Band Biography :
Originating from Darwen in Lancashire Gone Beggin’ have created their own blend
of World music. Now in their tenth year, The band mix Celtic melodies with
African and Eastern European rhythms (acoustic but very lively and original)and
continue to write songs with underlining themes which are relevant to a group of
lads and lasses from the valley’s of East Lancashire. The band includes: two
percussionists, guitars, mandolin, whistles, banjo, bass, bouzouki and harmony
vocals.
