Band Biography :
Based out of Boulder, Colorado, this quartet has emerged as one of the most
exciting new modern rock bands to be involved in the local scene. With a
following that is growing rapidly, the band looks to the future to become not
just a local band anymore. With renowned producer Malcolm Burn (Iggy Pop, Bob
Dylan, Peter Gabriel) supporting their efforts, there will be a lot to look
forward to. Greenfield started as a collaboration between songwriters Tim White
(lead vocals, piano, guitar) and Jeremy D’Antonio (lead guitar, vocals). And in
fall of 2004 Fred Heigold (bass) and Dan Luehring (drums) were added to complete
the line-up. Together as Greenfield they have taken the Denver/Boulder local
scene by storm, creating a buzz that is rarely seen in the Colorado rock world.
Their love of Wilco, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and Jeff Buckley with a bit of soul
has influenced the sound. That mix along with a high energy live show caught the
ear of veteran producer Malcolm Burn. An impressed Burn, invited the band to his
studio in New York to record an E.P. The result, “Kingston”, self-released in
April 2005 and produced by Burn has received nothing but positive reviews. The
release of the EP has created such a roots following that Greenfield plans to
record a full length record with Burn in early 2006. Greenfield is not just your
typical rock band, with their unique style and incredible live show, they are
out to win the hearts of the people who want to see great music return to the
world of pop culture.
