Band Biography :
1981 -Hannah was born on May 12th 1981, in Tallinn, Estonia. -She began singing
even before she could speak and aged seven she began with piano lessons. 1995 -
In 1995 Hannah’s first song she had composed, won first place in The Estonian
Children’s Song Competition. 1997 - In 1997, aged 16 begin her solo career. -
Second place in the Estonian Eurovision Song Contest with her own song – “Lonely
Soul”. - Second place in the Estonian National Singing Competition. 1999 -
Hannah’s first radio single success – “Still Waiting For You”. This was followed
by further hits – “Without You” and “Blinded” – all three instantly taking first
place in the charts. 2001 - Hannah’s debut album “Salaja” (“Secretly”). The lead
song “Salaja” (“Secretly) – becoming the greatest hit in Estonian Pop history. -
The Album won the Estonian Musical Awards 2001 Best Dance Hit of the Year.
-“Salaja” (”Secretly”) was nominated in five categories from a jury 2001 - Best
Female Artist of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Dance Hit of the Year, Radio
Hit of the Year and Best Dance Artist of the Year. 2002 - Hannah’s single
“Blinded” was released as a maxi single (five different versions of the song) in
US. - Hannah releasing her new album Hannah “Ballads” – unplugged, acoustic
version – comprising fifteen hits, all with Hannah singing her own compositions
accompanied, in some, by the cello. All songs composed, produced, performed and
piano accompanied by Hannah. - This Album became and still is the best selling
Album in Estonia. 2003 - Best Female Artist of the Year award at the Estonian
Golden Records Awards. - Hannah releasing her third Album “Fly Away” – dance
style songs, all composed, produced and performed by Hannah. 2004 - Hannah
releasing her fourth album “Ballads II”, all song composed by Hannah and
accompanied by symphonic orchestra. - Three televised major concerts accompanied
by Estonian Symphony Orchestra. - Best Female Artist of the Year and Best Album
of the Year with the album “Ballads II”. 2005 - Hannah releasing concert
double-album “Hannah Live”. She has won three Golden Records “Best Female Artist
in Estonia” (2003 and 2004), “Best Album of the Year” (2004 with “Ballads 2”).
She has been nominated for six years in different categories winning many awards
including “Best Song of the Year” (2003 with “Secretly”). Hannah has been
consistently in the Estonian top ten since 1997 and has an enormous following
fan club. This huge success has given Hannah a privileged position with enormous
influence in Estonia which has enabled her to contribute significantly to
charity. For example: January 2004 – Charity Concert for children’s orphanage in
Valga, South-Estonia. March 2004 – Concert for boy, who required urgent
operation to restore hearing after meningitis attack (the operation completely
successful). May 2004 - Art Auction organised by Hannah to assist the education
and recreational activities of poor children of large families. December 2004 –
three televised major concerts accompanied by Estonian National Symphony
Orchestra to make possible a series of operations on Zanna, an orphan born with
a seriously distorted face. A television appeal accompanied the concerts.
December 2004 – Concert with symphony orchestra in aid of Estonia orphans (700
orphans attended). February 2005 – major charity concert with “Zonta” foundation
to help orphans through out Estonia to access advanced education. February 2005
– Charity Concert for children orphanage in South-Estonia. Over the last four
years Hannah has headed a major initiative to rescue and rehabilitate stray cats
and dogs. This has developed in to a national campaign. Hannah’s priority in
life is love of family and home. This is the source of inspiration for all her
music. Her favourite pastimes are cooking, gardening, reading, running, skiing
and listening to music. She is a keen animal lover – especially cats. She also
enjoys spending time at her summer house, appreciating the sea and beach. She
studied media and advertising at Tallinn University and love events
organization. She is Lady of the Castle of Neeruti, which she is restoring with
her husband, Ander Ild, who she married on 21st June 2003 Few facts: Hannah’s

not interested in “fame for fames sake” which she realises usually leads to
short lived celebrity soon it fade into oblivion. Hannah’s talents (combined)
are very essence of her life and she wishes to develop them sensitively and
professionally and to share them with the whole world. Her style is unique and
this she wishes to evolve and preserve allowing the public to appreciate her
combination of lyric writing, music composing and performance. Her aim is to
develop and promote her music in a spirit of excellence whilst, though being a
well known public figure, retaining the essential privacy of her person. Fame
and private life combined! This aim requires a very professional and disciplined
approach whish she expects both of herself and of her team.
