    Ladies and gentlemen,

Indigo Shadow takes great pleasure in introducing you to …

    “Grindie” (Greeny – Indie)

This five piece Birmingham based band have developed a revolutionary alternative genre by combining the unusual voice, individuality and personality of their twenty year old front man, Craig “Greeny” Green, with drum beats that are so eighties we are talking Joy Division. Add to this guitarist Kecach Houang and you will have what Greeny describes as “sex on guitar,” which is not something you hear very often, and must be acknowledged! Add a splash of bass from bassist Berris Ledgister, supported by tight rhythmic sequences played by David Vaughan, and the recipe for success is complete!

    Hoorah!

Indigo Shadow are a multicultural band who met through a diploma of music at Halesowen college, making three band members qualified in areas such as music performance, theory (grade 5 and above), aural skills and music business.

Whilst at Halesowen college, Indigo Shadow have been assisted by Richard March award winning artist of Pop Will Eat Itself and Bentley Rhythm Ace, the lads have also been given advice by Rod Thompson, the ex manager of Dexy’s Midnight Runners and manager and close friend of Pop Will Eat Itself.

Indigo Shadow have been likened to bands such as The Editors and The Killers, but the band all draw influences from more experienced groups such as Joy Division, Interpol, Morrissey and Echo and the Bunny men to name but a few.

Their music has attracted the attention of generations old and new and is continually hooking an array of fans. Via the internet (www.myspace.com/indigoshadow or www.freewebs.com/indigo-shadow) the band has managed to broadcast their music and receive support from fans in America, Spain, and even The Netherlands-, which for the band is a triumphant success.

After playing various live dates at places including the Jug of Ale, Birmingham Academy Bar and the Actress and Bishop, with bands such as The Lines, Fade to Sepia, Sunset Cinema Club and Project-7 they have certainly drawn attention to themselves. The band were spotted by a talent scout at a Birmingham Academy Bar gig in May of this year who has since given the boys radio play on a Telford station, Indigo shadow are also in talks with people who wish to pass their music onto digital radio stations and sky TV to use for commercials and advertisements.

With a long list of original material under their belts the band are continually developing their style as individuals and as a group, After listening to the demo supplied you will see how these five boys have matured whilst playing together making them even more appealing.

Indigo Shadow have just completed their first demo and EP for your listening pleasure, creatively called “So Much For Technology”, we really hope you enjoy this and which to learn more about this phenomenal up and coming talent.

If you believe in Indigo Shadow as much as we do, if you enjoy our music and can see us drowning in our own success, why don’t you help them raise their profile as much as possible and get in touch!
