Band Biography :
“…In some magical meeting place of syncopated rhythms and meandering melodies,
Lapse meets. The passionate vocals, female and male; droning acoustic guitar;
and lonesome lyrics give this New Zealand outfit undeniable appeal.” Lapse is a
New Zealand based Singer/Songwriter who works hard to write, record and
distribute his own original music independently. Realized in 1998, Lapse
performed in various Inner City Auckland venues to unsuspecting patrons,
disarming them with the intensity of the acoustic guitar based sets. Lapse then
headed to the capital, Wellington, to record those earthy songs. Lapse is
currently in Auckland developing new, original material for a feature film
soundtrack and distributing Lapse Singles and EP’s via email requests. Contact:
