Band Biography :
Latent Anxiety stands for a one-man-project involving songwriting, arrangement
and recording of music styles, such as Hard Rock, Reggae, Dance and Pop Ballads.
The songs reflect my personal way of music feeling and are not especially aimed
at modern or past styles. You will find some mixes and harmonies that apparently
do not fit together according to “music rules”. You will also hear a diverse
vocal repertoire. Latent Anxiety is currently focused on Easy Listening and a
Dance/Metal Fusion. The latter is meant to be an innovative form of Industrial.
A vocal education in choirs made me initiate and become frontman of a Happy
Metal Band named Platonic Love, which had regional gigs in Germany. Four years
ago, I decided to complement vocals with guitar playing, which ultimately
resulted in Latent Anxiety. Most of my creation comes from day-to-day life
experiences, which are transformed into rhythms and lyrics. The arrangements are
loop-based on Sony Acid Pro or Roland MV8000, transferred to Mackie Tracktion 2
or Roland VS2000 and accomplished with own vocals and guitars. Mayor influences
were Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Bryan Adams, Depeche Mode, Human League, Inxs,
Simple Minds, Duran Duran, U2 and Sisters of Mercy.
