Band Biography :
BAND HISTORY Formed in early ‘02 this four piece hardcore outfit from the Gold
Coast have certainly turned some heads during their short time on the scene.
What these guys have produced is a subtle balance of metal and modern hardcore
that appeals to a broad range of heavy music fans. Now with two releases under
their belt, ‘Stress Therapy’, single released in ’02, then signing to Ward 69
Records for their debut Ep, ‘The Biggest Disappointment Is You’, available
Australia wide, as well as an extensive New South Wales and Queensland tour
promoting the disc, LYNCHMADA are about to return to the studio for another
follow up release. With some big International and Interstate supports coming up
this year and past appearances with bands such as Devolved, Sunk Loto,
Segression, Frankenbok, Post Life Disorder, Against and Tourettes to name a few,
as well as slots at Metal For The Brain, Faultline Festival and Overcranked in
the pipeline, 2004 is set to launch LYNCHMADA to the nation. SOUND Raw and
uncompromising, their sound derives from a subtle blend of extreme metal, honest
and brutal hardcore but with a distinct melodic undertone. Encompassing many
different styles to create the sound that is LYNCHMADA, and receiving rave
reviews for this years debut release, they have proven their music truly appeals
to a wide listening and viewing audience. Debut single ‘Stress Therapy’

the mid months of 2004 will include Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney dates, as
well as many South East Queensland shows all throughout the year . The as yet
untitled follow up release to this years debut Ep, ‘The Biggest Disappointment
Is You’ is already in the early stages of pre-production at Core Studios on the
Gold Coast and is unfolding to be bigger and better than the last. ‘THE BIGGEST
DISAPPOINTMENT IS YOU’ Released February ’04 through WARD 69 RECORDS and MGM.
Engineered and Co-Produced by Nick Carpenter, former vocalist from Gold Coast
and internationally renowned extreme metal outfit, DEVOLVED, LYNCHMADA have
managed to capture a sound that is all their own. Delving into moments of pure,
intense, emotional hardcore on tracks such as ‘FOR THE WEAK’ and ‘FAILSAFE’,
right through to superbly blended harmonies on ‘PURE’ and ‘A GIRL NAMED
S.A.R.S’, LYNCHMADA prove they have a style that truly appeals to a very broad
audience of listeners. Special guests on this release include members of
MOURNING TIDE, who appear courtesy of COLLISION RECORDS and VASE, courtesy of
CORE STUDIOS. The follow-up tour on the disk encompassed the major centers of
and South East QLD including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, along
with NSW dates including Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra and Wollongong. LYNCHMADA
