Band Biography :
The band Madame Saatan if affirmed in 2004 as one of the main revelations of the
new independent scene of rock to the North of Brazil. With the launching of the
demon “the Tao of the Chaos”, in 2004, the group gained respect of the critical
one and gathered up an increasing legion of fans in the paraense capital - where
it appeared and truily it is idolatrada, mainly, for a made use public young e
to not only consume music with weight in riffs but also in the ideas. Sammliz
(voice), Ícaro Suzuki (bass), Zé Mário (guitar), Edinho (guitar) and Ivan Vanzar
(drums) had formed the band in 2002 and had accepted, then early, the challenge
of the teatral director Paulo Santana to make the sonorous track of the part
“Ubu King - The Odisséia in Bundalelê”. The part was two months in poster, but
the five had felt that the work could relieve more. They had decided to
continue, incorporating the performatic spirit that the teatral experience
allowed. In the search of the proper identity of the band, and half in tone of
trick, the integrant ones costumam to summarize the style in a phrase:
“Amazonian metal with global influences”. But the side labels leave. It has many
influences in the sound of the Madame Saatan and the creative boarding of its
songs and arrangements has despertado interest of commercial producers and
recognition of artistic value between cultural artists and producers. Shows -
the first presentation is of Pará(Amazonia/Brazil) occurred in the July end,
when it participated of the “Battle of Bands”, in Macapá (AP), invitation that
appeared after the presentation in the Amazonian Cultural Fórum, occurred two
months before in Belém. In August, the band if presented in the biggest festival
of music pop of the North of the Country, touching in palco of local bands of
the Yamada Tim Festival. In September, the show to the side of the bands the
Euterpia and Delinqüentes registered the public greater in presentations of
local artists in III the Biennial International of Music of Belém. In the
beginning of the year, the band if prepares for the writing of the first
official COMPACT DISC, project contemplated the Prize Altino Pimenta of the
Biennial International of Music of Belém.
