Band Biography :
Singer, songwriter & producer, Mike Smith has been leading worship in New
England for 15 years. Mike’s heart is to train, equip, and release a new
generation of radical worshippers in the prophetic sounds of heaven. With a
focus on God’s throneroom and prophetic declaration, the worship at Gateway
changes the very spiritual atmosphere over individuals, cities, and the entire
region of New England as we fix our gaze on our Bridegroom Jesus! Many of the
songs used in worship at Gateway were written by Mike including: One in a
Million, Daylight Rising, Ascribe, and Open my Eyes. It’s not often that you
find an artist as creative, diverse, flexible, and able to move with the Spirit
of God as Mike Smith. Born and raised in Connecticut, Mike has turned his
passion for the Presence of God into a personal crusade to see the heavens
opened over New England. He is also a dynamic speaker using humor, personal
experiences, and prophetic insight to challenge the body of Christ into a deeper
experience of the Kingdom of God.
