Band Biography :
Puppet (formerly known as Tacit) are based in Auckland. Auckland has an annual
rainfall of 730mm, and faces east off the upper coast of New Zealand. Puppet’s
current incarnation has been around for only about a year, but has already got
the attention of some extremely important (and handsome) industry insiders - the
reviewers. Check out this extract from www.thread.co.nz - “…subtle yet
commanding vocals of the lead singer produced a compelling, hypnotic sound,
backed by some tight accompaniment. The composition of song and performance was
well balanced between melody and metal. The unusual inclusion of cello with Lucy
Arthur provided variety…and the guitarist should also be commended for his
creativity, mixing it up with some personal flair” That’s right - personal
flair. Greg and Dave aren’t in that review, but I assure you that they are
nothing short of superb. Personal flair…
