Band Biography :
The Tides are four mates from South Wales that are all into the same style of
music. They formed in 2003 after unsuccessful times with other bands and
members. Some of their previous bands were excellent in their own right, but
could just not cut the mustard in comparison. The Tide’s style of music gives a
nod to the likes of The Who, Zeppelin, The Beatles, AC/DC through to most recent
big names such as The Killers, Kaiser chiefs etc. The one thing that puts Them
on a different level to the rest of the scene is that they’re themselves and not
trying to copy or mimic other bands, their own music is refreshingly original.
The Tides are relatively young, but experienced enough to turn up at a gig and
blow everyone away with their riffs, bass lines, articulate drumming and of
course their powerful vocals. The power, stage presence, and music itself gives
everyone who hears The Tides something to talk about for the rest of their
