Band Biography :
With a uniting desire to play heavy music that would not follow a certain style
or sound, Thiscollision set out ten months ago in rehearsal space and began
writing songs. Emerging in October last year (2003), with a set full of tracks,
and a one song demo cd, Thiscollision launched onto the live scene playing some
local shows which were followed by a five date North QLD tour with awesome
Brisbane band “The Butterfly Effect”. The end of the year saw the band record 2
more demo songs which all reached the TOP 5 on the rockcharts of Australia’s
popular digital music site “mp3.com.au” taking their total downloads in excess
of 500. With 2004 in full swing, and plenty of shows confirmed, Thiscollision
are quickly gaining the reputation as a band to watch out for in the South East
QLD area and have a solid fan base which continues to grow with each
performance.
