Band Biography :
Summary: Thunderpig are a four piece rock covers band based in the North Wales
area. The band consists of drums, bass, guitar and vocals. Click here for the
line-up Style: Having been around in one format or another for about 16 years,
(see History ), Thunderpig have played a lot of different material. The band
started out as a straight-down-the-line rock covers band, but have now developed
a very unique blend of traditional rock mixed with their own super cool brand of
‘Disco Rock’! Disco Rock? Thunderpig often take very well known disco tracks and
rock them up. This leads to an awesome ‘melding’ of styles. Tracks which have
been given this unique treatment include such classics as Stevie Wonder’s
Superstition and Hot Chocolate’s Everyone’s a Winner. These renditions are a
massive hit at gigs and leave the crowd screaming for more - you’ve never heard
anything like it! A lot of time and experience has gone into streamlining the
set to provide music which appeals to a very broad audience. The current set is
lively enough to satisfy the most discerning rock fan, and funky enough to get
your granny strutting her stuff on the dance floor!
