    Band Biography :
Bosnian Death Metal machine Toxicdeath incarnated itself in septembre, 2000.
with the intention to forge Death Metal in its purest form. After few
rehearsals, the band recorded their first raw demo called “Daemo of madness”
(incl. three of their songs & two covers:”Alter reality” - Nocturnus & “Black
Metal” - Venom). Demo had gained some very good critics in the Bosnian DM
underground. Second demo entitled: “Pathfinder” was finished in January 2001.
Songs were Brutal DM but this time with a lot of progressive elements, which
fully presented technical skills of this young band. “Pathfinder” also gained
excellent critics in many domestic magazines and had a lot of great reviews in
many international ´zines. First Live appearance came up in February,2001. at
the local club in their hometown – Tuzla (BIH). In the 2002. band played a lot
of gigs in Bosnia and very soon had collected recordings for their Live CD,
later entitled as “Live till Death”. First own show (in January,2003.) took
place in a Bosnian Capitol - Sarajevo at the Rock Club “Sloga”. Band´s quality
and live activity ensured appearance at the “Festival of the Best Pop-Rock Bands
in the Bosnian Federation” which took place in Sarajevo. At the end of 2003.,
band finaly completed recordings for their first full-lenght Metal attack
entitled “Contamination” which fully represent creativity, technic and vision of
the Bosnian Death Metal sons - Toxicdeath. At the beginning of 2004. Toxicdeath
had their first own show in Zagreb (Croatia) in well-known club Mochvara
(onslaughtered by Morbid Angel, Krisiun, Vader, Decapitated, Vital remains,
Cannibal Corpse…). That followed many other shows including one at Metal Forest
Festival in Zagreb (w / some other European bands). At the end of July, 2004.
band got the chance to support Vader on their show in Osijek (CRO), which was a
part of their European tour 2004. Toxicdeath had a great support from the fans
and performed an great show that will be one of their best to the date. After
this show a lot of gigs followed including some openings for acts like Krisiun,
Vital Remains. Band also got the chance to play on some great festivals with
names like Slayer, Soulfly, Napalm Death, Therion… At this point, after four
years of existance,Toxicdeath became an compact entity leaving the long era of
personal changes behind. Today, they are one of the most important bands in the
Balcan Death Metal scene. In the novembre, 2004. they signed their first record
deal with Walk Records for “Contamination” full-lenght release. Currently, band
is focused on the gigs and promotion activities.
