Band Biography
“Strange” Dave was looking to form a SURF/RAP/REGGAE band and got in contact with Mason B. Proud. The duo began practicing together with Mason’s friend Dommer on breakbeats and scratching. The trio soon auditioned bassists and drummers and decided on Rohan “Luddy” Ludford and Ryan Frye for bass and drums respectively. These five musicians are the original members of Vanilla Sativa.
